For great music, fabulous food and a good time, come out to Boomerangs on Friday and Check out Andy Harrell and the New Direction Band
Andy, a Portsmouth native who now lives in Whaleyville, began playing piano at age 6, guitar at age 11 and has performed in bands since age 13. The full-time musician has performed more than 600 shows in the past four years.
He and the band have collectively and individually shared the stages with Kool and the Gang, Dave Matthews and The Doobie Brothers, to name a few.
The band takes the stage at 9 p.m. Boomerangs is at 6045 High St.
